Several skin problems are found to be caused because of Venous malformation, blood blisters, angiomas, and unwanted superficial vascular structures through the skin such as red scars, red stretch marks, and appearance of unwanted blue, red and purple pigment in the skin.
How is it achieved?
We use the Palomar ICON MAXG™, a multi-technology powerhouse to treat many areas of the body with deep vascular lesions. This highly effective technology provides a non-invasive, fast, and effective treatment that accurately targets the vascular lesions while sparing the surrounding skin. We can treat your vascular skin concerns such as vascular lesions (spider and thread veins).
Laser therapy is an advanced technique that uses a laser to create intense local heat energy in the varicose vein or incompetent vein. The heat is directed to the targeted vascular lesions on the face and body which are then absorbed by the blood vessels within the vein in the dermis, diminishing unwanted venous concerns without letting any damage to the outer layer of skin.
The Vascular Laser treatment is the safest and effective way to diminish the appearance of unwanted blue, red and purple pigment on the face and other body parts with no surgery or lengthy recovery times. This treatment is nearly painless, requiring no downtime from your busy life.
Why should The Beauty Base be your choice?
The Beauty Base considers all your skin needs, providing you with pre-treatment skin consultation with our highly skilled therapists to get the desired results.
We use modern technology to ensure that treatment gives minimal or no damage to the outer layer of skin. And we ensure our guests are protected and feel comfortable during the treatment.
What should you expect from the Vascular Laser treatment?
This is a non-invasive and viable treatment for venous-based skin conditions that diminishes unwanted blue, red and purple pigment in the skin.
The treatment is very responsive particularly to facial veins and darker lesions. A series of treatments may be needed to fully reduce the appearance of the veins. Larger veins and lightly pigmented regions may be less responsive for the treatment and require more sessions for accurate results.
Are there any adverse effects?
The treatment causes some temporary after-effects which include mild redness, swelling, or crusting on the treated area. You don’t have to worry about some adverse effects that are associated with laser treatments like pigmentary changes, textural changes, and scarring, as they are very uncommon with Vascular Laser treatment.
This is because of how the laser deeply penetrates your skin till your veins and deeply stimulates your body’s healing process.
Does the Vascular Laser treatment hurt?
The laser pulses may cause a mild stinging sensation. Mostly our guests say that they are comfortable with the treatment. Additionally, at The Beauty Base we employ pre-treatment pain control methods by applying cold gel or anesthetic cream to the skin and with our latest technology, your skin is continually cooled to improve comfort during and after the treatment.
What’s the longevity of results?
The results of the treatment are permanent if you adopt some lifestyle modifications as well such as avoiding excessive sun exposure, excessive alcohol intake, and the use of vitamin E containing face lotions. However, if treated veins recur, a touch-up treatment at a later time may be needed.
