The laser pulses may cause a mild stinging sensation. Mostly our guests say that they are comfortable with the treatment. Additionally, at The Beauty Base we employ pre-treatment pain control methods by applying cold gel or anesthetic cream to the skin and with our latest technology, your skin is continually cooled to improve comfort during and after the treatment.
What’s the longevity of results?
The results of the treatment are permanent if you adopt some lifestyle modifications as well such as avoiding excessive sun exposure, excessive alcohol intake, and the use of vitamin E containing face lotions. However, if treated veins recur, a touch-up treatment at a later time may be needed.
