DMK post-care is pretty minimal. You’ll want to keep the area dry for 12 hours after and avoid sun exposure. Try to avoid stepping out into UV higher than 2 for 14 days following your therapy, as your skin will be sensitive to burning.

Don’t pick or scratch, swim in a pool, exfoliate, or play rough sports for a week post-therapy, and you’ll want to avoid hot baths for up to 2 weeks. We recommend using at least a 30 SPF sunscreen on the area between treatments.

How many DMK treatments do you need?

DMK pre- and post-operative treatments need a minimum of six treatments. Therapies can be scheduled weekly or fortnightly. You can get some before the treatment and some after. Additional follow-up treatments can be scheduled up to 12 weeks after the completion of enzyme therapy.
