The Beauty Base offers professional eyebrow waxing and brow shaping at our Western Sydney beauty clinics in Narellan, Gregory Hills and Glenmore Park.
Our locations are convenient for guests throughout the Camden, Macarthur, Penrith and surrounding Western Sydney regions.
You can book online or contact your nearest Beauty Base clinic to arrange your eyebrow appointment.
Absolutely.
If you’d like to change your eyebrow shape, tell your therapist during your consultation.
We’ll assess your existing brows, natural growth and the result you’re hoping to achieve. If significant reshaping is required, your therapist may recommend allowing certain areas to grow over several appointments so we can work towards your desired shape without unnecessarily removing brow hair.
Yes. Eyebrow waxing and brow tinting can be combined in the same appointment.
This is a popular option for guests wanting both a cleaner shape and greater brow definition.
How often you book a brow wax will depend on how quickly your hair grows and how defined you like to keep your brows.
Your Beauty Base therapist can recommend a maintenance schedule based on your individual brow growth and preferred shape.
Brows are naturally sisters rather than identical twins, and some asymmetry is completely normal.
If one brow differs significantly from the other, your therapist can assess the existing shape and recommend how we can create better visual balance.
Sometimes that means removing hair. Other times, the better option is allowing an area to grow.
Some skincare ingredients and medications can make the skin more sensitive and may increase the risk of irritation or skin lifting during waxing.
Before your appointment, tell your therapist if you are using retinol, prescription retinoids, Vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs or other active skincare, or if you are taking medication that may affect your skin.
Your therapist can then determine whether waxing is appropriate for you on the day.
Yes.
Professional eyebrow waxing can be tailored to anyone who wants to clean up unwanted brow hair or create a more groomed shape.
Your therapist can keep the result as natural or defined as you prefer.
Yes. Eyebrow waxing is generally considered safe during pregnancy, and waxing can also be performed while breastfeeding.
Pregnancy can sometimes make the skin more sensitive than usual, so please let your therapist know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before your treatment. We’ll also check any skincare, medications or skin sensitivities that may affect whether waxing is suitable for you on the day.
No. We do not recommend waxing while you are taking Accutane or other forms of isotretinoin, as the medication can make the skin more fragile and increase the risk of skin lifting, injury and scarring. Waxing should also be avoided for a period after finishing isotretinoin treatment.
That doesn’t necessarily mean you have to leave your brows completely untouched.
Depending on the condition and sensitivity of your skin, our therapists may be able to carefully tweeze and shape the brows instead of waxing. Please let us know about your medication when booking so we can recommend the safest option for you.
Once you have finished your course of Accutane, we suggest discussing your individual circumstances with your treating doctor or dermatologist to determine when it is appropriate to resume waxing.
